CREATING SMILES ONE TACO AT A TIME
Turco Taco is a healthy taco concept that introduces seasoned meat that is most frequently called Turkish Doner. The meat is stacked and then turned slowly on a vertical rotisserie. The outer layer is sliced into thin shavings as it cooks. The vertical rotisserie was invented in the 19th century Ottoman Empire, and Doner inspired similar dishes such as the Arab Shawarma, Greek Gyros, and this way of grilling meat that was later brought by Lebanese immigrants to Central Mexico, where it evolved into our beloved and tasty tacos Al Pastor.
